Search Hotels & Resorts in Thailand Guest reviews for Ayodhara Village May 23, 2012 by Mr.Rolf Wind-Jakobi/Mrs.Beate Jakobi Visit Date:April 7, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "TERRIBLE! Dirty bed with big dirt smudge on the sheet. They refused to change the sheet because it was already 8 pm and there was no housekeeping available. The restaurant was already closed and we were told to drive back to town for dinner. The surroundings may be very nice, it was dark when we arrived but it is really far away from town. The bathroom was totally dirty - towels, washbowl, toilet bowl and walls with spider nets have not been cleaned and it was horrible. We didn t stay the night and got a wonderful room in Kunsgri River Hotel. Don t book this hotel, it s a nightmare. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" | January 10, 2012
by Janelle Hill Visit Date:January 7, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "We loved the layout of the village setting and our wonderful house, but the children asked for a swimming pool. Perhaps the large pond near the reception could be a swimming pool in future. Also the restaurant needs softening as it is very bright and feels unwelcoming. The food was tasty but incredibly salty. I did tell this to the staff, but unless I speak Thai, then it will never change. Perhaps a little more English needs to be understood and perhaps spoken too, although I know this is difficult. Given there are no nearby alternatives for food, then the restaurant needs to be very very good and to cater for all the needs of the guests. Perhaps a few simple western options (low salt might help). If families are staying then simple foods are best (western children do not like spice very much but appreciate things like chicken sate and rice, plain roast chicken, plain quick boiled vegetables like carrot and broccoli). I am sure simple changes can help to make Ayodhara Village a wonderful experience. The location is wonderful if you want somewhere authentically Thai and out of town The boat trip is very nice, stopping at some of the more scenic temples and providing a great morning of exploration. But the location is cut off from any other restaurants. A two day stay is fine, but any more would be too much. Perhaps a pool and a more happy restaurant would help to keep people longer. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" | as always excellent:-D, June 3, 2011
by Andreas Geyer Visit Date:May 17, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Really a nice and quiet place. But not value for money, this Hotel can just get maybe two and half stars. Why can they get three and half stars? Only one receptionist can speak a little bit English, and activities in this hotel very expensive. The room has a very dirty simple bathroom. The food is very disgusting. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" | July 15, 2011

by Pekareva Ekaterina Visit Date:July 15, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "It is like the hotel, we were the only guests. The ratio of hotel staff excellent. Located on the banks of the river, quiet, birds singing. around the rice fields, if you pass a little along the road towards the city, the house of a local resident living elephants, we saw 2 elephant.Houses are built in Thai style, wooden. American breakfast, delicious orange juice. The only downside - the hotel is far from the city center, but you can order a tuk-tuk (200 Batt per hour), standard cabins for 3 people very close, bathroom quite simple. On the terrace of our house saw a large spider who then got into my shoes, unpleasant, but it is not minus the hotel and the area where he is:) [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" | Hotels & Resorts RecommendDestination:Hua Hin Location:Hua Hin Area, Petchkasem Rd.
