Avoid the river view bungalows but the sea view and the beach front bungalows are fantastic. The staff is probably the most friendly and helpful we met. The commuter van to a nearby beach compensates for the rocky hotel beach. Having said rocky - don´t miss the Rocky bar which is really the place to be during warm oriental nights. Service is nice though, as everywhere in Thailand.Pictures on line don t show exactly the look of the rooms and we have been given a smelly, humid, moisty room.We have asked to have another more expensive room ( sea view) which was ok but still low maintenance and dirty ( bathroom soaps probably haven t been changed since long time). So we moved. That said the food in the restaurant was great and I think it would be perfect for couples or people with older children. The views are also fantastic and it is a very restful resort. The Manager - Kai - was soooo helpful when we moved, even ringing round to find alternative, suitable acommodation, it was unbelievable. What a great person he is someone who knows about custoemr service. The other staff here are also very friendly, helpful and relaxed, so it was a shame for us that we had to leave.
