by Anne / Australia Visit Date:January 16, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "This hotel was in a great location on Thong Nai . Service was excellent. The Staff were more than helpful and restaurant food was very reasonable. My whole family enjoyed our stay here. The beach was beautiful and very reminiscent of Chewang on Samui before the airport hit! A great beach to chill out. Not so easy to get here, but well worth the trek if you want to get away from the masses." | Efficient service, prompt., January 7, 2010 by emma phillips Visit Date:December 30, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Hotel was simple and clean. I thought the staff were pleasant and quite friendly. They could do with more sun loungers for the beach. For the price paid I thought it was good value. The only thing to note is that if you are interested in partying in Haad Rin, be prepared for a long and bumpy journey of about 40 mins there and back!!!" | good, September 2, 2009
by Stefanie Visit Date:August 27, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The bungalows are nice and clean, located on a beautiful beach.Unfortunately, the restaurant is the worse of the beach. There is no SPA in this resort, as assumed in the name. Nice pool, but the chemical cleaning made my hair red, and our bathing clothes orange." | good as always, July 20, 2009 by franz gangl ing Visit Date:July 12, 2009 "Phuwadees management have changed from last year ( someone mentioned back to owner of resort ). Now we satisfied with service again, also reception friendly and helpful. For class of service, rates are on upper level, but you have to aknowledge - the best beach of Thailand ! All year swimming without hassle, no watershoes needed,as fine gently falling sea ! We are returning guests for 4 years there;franz & nam & al" | as usual..no problem, March 10, 2009 by Joern Gunnar Hansen Visit Date:February 17, 2009 "This was our visit nr 3.....And we will bee back AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN !Thats all....ah.." | NO PROBLEM, February 14, 2009 by deborah ann jones Visit Date:February 9, 2009 "LOVELY BEACH, NICE BIG ROOM, WE HAD FREE UPGRADE BECAUSE THEY WERE QUIET. STAFF FRIENDLY.GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY." | January 20, 2009 by Andrea McCaffrey Visit Date:January 2, 2009 "We had a nice time at the hotel, but thought that the compulsory gala dinner was overpriced. We did enjoy the Thai dancing and the paper balloons though. Would have been perfect if the weather had cooperated!" | January 5, 2009 by Anke Kummer Visit Date:December 31, 2008 "We are very disappointed of this hotel - the breakfast was very poor, we had to order three times tea and coffee, there was a child who stuck her fingers in the food, the tablecloth was dirty and had holes in it, no hot water in the shower, the towels are dirty, the TV is not working well, no free internet (and the bar next door offers free WI-FI), there was an electricity breakdown for about 2 hours.. The price you have to pay is in no relation to the service of the hotel. Result - not recommendable at all." | fast- no problems., January 3, 2009 by Joanne Catherine Crawford Visit Date:December 29, 2008 "Excellent location, beautiful quiet beach. Good selection of restaurants and bars. Hotel rooms are clean, showers are good, mosquito nets provided, safety deposit boxes in rooms. Will definately go back to this resort.Tip- buy beers from the local supermarket as they are expensive at hotel" | January 3, 2009 by Joanne Catherine Crawford Visit Date:December 29, 2008 "organise your own transfer from the pier area as it is cheaper thatn the one the hotel offers" | March 3, 2008 by Kurt Moller Visit Date:February 4, 2008 "Nice beach and surroundings. The rooms are also nice. But be aware of that all rooms have the same size. I.e. that when booking a family room (4 person) you do not get more space than when booking a double room! The restaurant is not good - but you find several other good restaurants at the beach. " | Fine., July 17, 2007 by Alex Visit Date:June 6, 2007 "Subpar on every level. The staff is snotty especially the owner, they re unwilling to assist in any way. We had asked for more beach umbrellas and were told that they had no more. So, a hotel with thirty some odd rooms has three umbrellas. Music is constantly playing and is usually too loud. I stupidly purchased a drink from the bar and at the time they didn t have change. I was assured when they had change I would be the first to know. Which never happened. Granted, I didn t approach them about the issue I wanted to see if they had any sort of pride in their work. They don t. I must say that one of the bartenders was a good guy, but he wasn t around that often. The first room we had was like that of a dorm in Russia in the mid-sixties. It smelled awful. The coloring was so bad it can be likened to that of cardbaord. It was headache inducing. The a.c. didn t even work. So natuarlly we expressed our discomfort and to our surprise we were given another room. The room was exactly the same as the previous except slight differences in the coloring and the a.c. worked. We wound up leaving two days early because the whole experience was so dreadful. That is not to say the beach is bad infact just the opposite. But music is always playing and any relaxation is impossible. Again, the beach is really nice just the resort if you d call it that is the pits. Don t be fooled by their claims to be a spa either. This couldn t be further from the truth. Not worth the money in the slighest, I wouldn t recomend this place to anyone. You re better off in the jungle." | Without any problems, March 19, 2007 by Lutz Visit Date:March 3, 2007 "The bungalows are quite nice but very close together. The staff is nice and helpful. Price is a bit too high for this type of accomodation." | Booking service was fine., February 25, 2007 by T Boynton Visit Date:February 19, 2007 "The beachfront house was very nice inside and the AC worked just fine. However, the restaurant s breakfast was really awful and, in case no one ever told you, instant coffee is offensive to most europeans and north americans (the majority of your clients). Please play more variety of music at the bar other than Tracy Chapman and Bob Marley. Kayaks were old and over-priced" | Hotels & Resorts RecommendDestination:Phuket Location:Kamala Beach Address:17/38 Moo 6, Kamala Beach, City:A.
